An "excelbox" is a slang term for a desktop computer geared towards general office work and usually distributed through fleet sales to businesses, governments, universities, and other organizations with office staff. They are often used to run the Microsoft Office suite, hence the name.

Excelbox product lines usually consist of a minitower form factor, a small or slim form factor often designed to be positioned either vertically or horizontally, and a "micro" form factor similar in size to a Mac mini, but usually requiring an external power supply. These product lines are separate from retail consumer offerings, but they are commonly available to individual customers through online sales.
