My wine purchasing habits are spontaneous, my attention to ideal pairings is haphazard at best, and I generally aim for bottles under $20 (USD). What follows are just some general impressions of things I broadly enjoyed, to aid in future purchasing.

- Samuel Robert Winery Pinot Noir Vintner's Reserve 2021 - Total Wine
- Store description: "Aromas of dark cherry and cinnamon will draw you into this beautifully handcrafted Pinot Noir. On the palate refreshing red fruits and light tannins round out the wine nicely."
